Model: CPE710
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

My home is remote and behind a hill which blocks the mobile network provider tower. This reduces the mobile network coverage around my home and significantly lowers the internet speed.. I hardly get 1mbps speed on my 4G / LTE data. The distance to the tower is around 2kms and i have a hill blocking the line of sight with the tower.

I was trying to see if the device - TP-LINK CPE710 helps me improve the network gain and help increase the data speed on my phone.

I plan to aim this device towards the mobile tower and connect the output from this device into a sim based tp-link router (MR200) for my wifi access. I'll be more than happy if the gain improves to 10mbps.

If this product doesn't support, is there any other product I can leverage to make my life comfortable !!!

thanks in advance for your help

1 CPE is useless, but you can use multiples, the connection should be like this:

PC----MR200----CPE 3 ))))((((CPE 2----CPE1 )))))(((((Tower

A little late to the party here, but you mean . . . CPE1 and CPE2 are up on the remote hill, so how are your going to get power to them ?

What about a solar setup, if you'd be allowed to do that there.

First figure out the kWh usage per day, then the battery size to supply that, then the solar panels required to supply enough daily kWhs to replenish the batteries..

It probably wouldn't take much.

A good calculator for that can be found here . . . .

And it turns out the forum here won't let me enter the actual link for some reason, so search for :
