Please implement mDNS (Multicast DNS) support in the Festa gateways and cloud based controller as per the Omada functionality detailed here: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/3723/.

As a prosumer product range, this is an important feature to support smart homes and goes hand-in-hand with the use of VLANs to isolate IoT devices.

@Mr_Orange I totally agree, why does the Omada brand have mDNS support but not Festa, makes no sense to me.

@Mr_Orange Did TP-Link even bother to reply to your post? I bought a Festa set-up over Omada because it was marketed as a prosumer product. What's the point in vlans for household IoT if you don't have mDNS?

@Trailer_Made - No, but I put in a formal support ticket.....

The Festa range has been discontinued and will no longer be sold after about February 2026. I doubt they will be fixing bugs or adding functionality.
