How to recod both Substream and Main Stream
Hi, I setup my first ever NVR system (i was on wifi cams before), what i want to achieve is to only record substream 24x7 but record main stream in case of any AI smart events, thus drastically reducing the storage requirements, currently im not able to find any workflow or option to record hybrid
also not related to it, but i am not able to find AI smart features (human, car detection), every event just shows up as motion detection in app, if anyone can help, it would be great

You can access the NVR's web interface and check the settings under Recording Control.

@Hank21 Thanks for replying, my settings page seems to be quite different than the one you shared, and yep, i have turned on smart event toggle and VCA, but i think im wrong, while the app shows motion detection icon on every thumbnail (the running blue man), they are actually different events like car and human detection (i have turned off basic detection and only kept smart events), also if one can guide me how to check motion events for all cameras in a single scrollable thing, it would be great, currently i open every camera individually to check events, if there could be a master list where i could filkter by type, eg intrusion detection or car detection, it would be great
