Hello Everyone

 

Question. I want to connect a speaker to NVR output audio port. And setup intrusion detection

 So if intrusion detection alarm goes of will it make a loud noise on speaker? So will I get notification on NVR and I will here a loud alarm noise. The reason why is for example if I  sleep I want here a loud noise from speaker to tell me there is somebody at my gate or fence?

May I ask what is model number of your VIGI NVR? And what is your network topology?

Hi  @AquilaTech 

Thanks for providing the NVR models you currently have.

You may misunderstand the audio output interface the NVR1004H and NVR1008H have. The audio output on both NVRs refers to the stream of the camera.

If you want to trigger the alarm of the event, you may choose the model like NVR2016H V2 which has alarm in&out interface to make this work.
