First off all let me just start by saying sorry if this is posted in the wrong place....

I'm looking to purchase one of these access points as ubiquiti is way expensive and is wondering has there been a payment system added to the guest portal?
if not will it be added to the Controller anytime soon? as i'm looking to give my clients a free trial and then if they want to be continuing to use it is for them to make an small contribution towards it

(if anyone has experience with the hotspot setting on ubiquiti you'll know what i mean!)

I understand, but i don't think they will add soon because most people don't need paid Wi-Fi service now. we all want free Wi-Fi,don't we?

@StroggCore

Now we have guest network, and you can also bind portal for this SSID. After that, we can use the guest portal.

Hey Newman, I think you can try to use a third party payment app for that, I am sure there are payment systems that would help you with that. Honestly, I am using https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pw_AluJ1P2E&list=RD5hTlNZyaGEo&index=5 I've got a skrill card and a gold status account. More than that, I am nearly sure you will allow you to charge for access to wifi. With all that you will get a full instruction how to verify your skrill account using Baxity and how to get a bronze, silver or gold account. Trust me, this is the best payment system designed for your needs. So, go on and check it, I am pretty sure it will be useful for you

Hey NewMan, There are quite a few third party solutions that could help. I happen to work for one! Check out https://stampede.ai we integrate with Stripe and PayPal to allow you to charge for access to WiFi
