DDWRT with EAP??

Anyone using DDWRT with the EAP225? I was hoping to setup a isolated guest network on its own subnet, on my router I have a bridge setup on its own subnet with its own dhcp so the guest are completely isolated. I was hoping to leverage this or some VLAN configuration on my DDWRT router and tag the SSID on the EAP.
If there is an easier way i'm all for it, for the time being I have created a a control rule and isolated the SSID so although the Guest are on the same dhcp they cannot talk to each other.

AFAIK, DD-WRT does not support EAP225 (and it would not make much sense at all, since DD-WRT is a router OS, while EAP225's hardware is optimized for use as an AP only).
If you meant using EAP225 together with some router running DD-WRT managing an isolated guest network, sure, this is possible. Just create a guest VLAN and turn on Multi-SSID mode on the EAP, assign the guest SSID a VLAN ID and there you go.

So create the guest VLAN on DDWRT and then on the EAP create a SSID with the same VLAN ID?

Exactly. Just connect the EAP in Multi-SSID mode with a tagged port of the DD-WRT router. That's all. No need to install DD-WRT on the EAP.

Hmm this might be troublesome, I have a few APs on different floors connected to a unmanaged switch I don't want to isolate a LAN port on the router just for the APs as that would isolate my PC and other devices on said port. Is there no way to send traffic based on VLAN without changing the port configuration? Plus I still want to keep the internal wifi fully operational.

To send VLAN-tagged traffic to a central router you need a trunk port anyway.
