Hello,

I bouhgt one AC50 and six CAP1750. The intention is to create one SSID for private use and one SSID for guests. How can I set this up?
I already have tried:

Creating 2 SSID's: one for private use and one with SSID isolation on. When I connect several devices to the guest network and do a network scan, I see the other devices and the whole LAN network. This shouldn't be happening for the guest network.
After this I set up port isolation on the managed tp-link POE switch (T1500G-10PS). This helped for the guest network, but as I expected, on the private network also the lan access was disabled.

Does anyone know how to set up a private Wi-Fi with full lan access and access to other wireless clients and at the same time a guest Wi-Fi with full SSID and LAN isolation?
The router I have is an archer C7

Separating a guest network from a private LAN is usually done with multiple VLANs and either ACLs in the switch / WiFi controller or in the core router's firewall. If the Archer C7 supports a guest network, this can be used also to separate the guest network from the private network.

For instructions to set up Multi-SSIDs with multiple VLANs see: http://forum.tp-link.com/showthread.php?99025-How-to-configure-Multiple-SSIDs-with-Multiple-VLANs-on-CAP-amp-AC-products
