thanks for the tips R1D2, this unit is set as a client, to be more precise, in client router mode, i'm not sending, transmitting or giving internet using this unit, i'm receiving, i connect to a ARRIS router which are known to have very weak wifi signal even being near, in my case that router is a bit far away but i'm able to connect at full speed using the WBS unit, another important fact is that i had to lower the transmit power in the WBS unit to 13 DBI i can go even lower and it still works fine, i had to lower the transmit power because if i leave it in 27 DBI then it won't connect to the weak ARRIS router, if i lower the transmit power to let's say 23 or 19 then it will connect but the speed will be very slow, so lowering the transmit power to 13 DBI fixes the problem, but if i connect to another tp link unit like a tp link router or a CPE unit or any other router beside the ARRIS then it will connect just fine at full speed even having the WBS unit transmit power in 27 DBI, that's why i know the problem is cause by the weak ARRIS router that can't keep up, i connect the lan cable from the WBS510 to my computer, The other WBS510 is also connected to another ARRIS router in the same way, the only difference is that i connect the lan cable from that WBS510 unit to the WAN of one of my archer c5, that set up configuration is to have wifi inside the house for devices, phones, tablets. i connect the DVR via lan cable to ARCHER C5, everything is setup nicely, DHCP etc. i'll be moving soon then that is when i'll be sending signal from one WBS510 to the other WBS510, the same goes for the WBS210 units. so one WBS510 and one WBS210 in my parents house roof sending to my house
there are some areas that companies do not cover yet, so i had to ordered the service to my parent's house that they live inside the coverage area, so i can send the signal to my house
