As I wrote: you cannot see anything in the /private directory, it's private. But you can download files using the ftp command line utility. Start a shell window, fire up FTP and just type in the commands shown in my post.
Do not use a web browser for FTP access, they are not smart enough to fully understand FTP. They have been made for web browsing only and even then they often are not that smart to do even this correctly. ;)

Interesting thread. I'm currently considering to get some of the EAPs for my home and my weekend home, in both houses I have Linux based systems running which can host the controller, so I'm just testing out if TP-Link's system fits my needs. I got a test environment installed with v2.5x on my Ubuntu 18.04 server (BTW: successfully adopted the EAP225). and so far it looks ok, however I miss some management functions (for example pushing clients into 5G), which I guess will be delivered in future versions.I'm wondering why the linux version of a typical server software is behind a windows version. Serious TP-Link?

This is called Band-Steering and it's in Wireless Settings menu even since EAP Controller v2.4 (first Linux edition ever).LittleNo wrote

I was aware of this setting, however the description did not say clear it is for pushing clients into 5G whenever it is possible, but to load balance between both bandsR1D2 wrote

It pushes clients from 2.4GHz to 5GHz according to your settings and if possible at all (meaning: if the client supports 5GHz), thus balancing the load.
What TP-Link calls Load Balancing on their website (as available for EAP110 and EAP120, which as single-band APs can't support Band Steering) is limiting the number of users who might connect to an AP at all. This is still available also on EAP225/245/320/330.
