What is the long term solution for this malware? I have V1 of the router and there is no firmware update for it. Do i need to trash my router and look elsewhere to prevent further infections of VPN Filter?

I think we don't have to worry about malware. VPN Filter is using security hole. The thing is there is no security hole so far on tp-link device, especially r600vpn. I'll still using it.

Does TP-Link have an official statement on this? the r600vpn is on all the updated lists for the vulnerabilities "affected routers".... arstechnica, cisco, theregister, etc.
