PPTP problem with Model No. TL-R600VPN (Hardware V2)

PPTP problem with Model No. TL-R600VPN (Hardware V2)

I have read the sticky topic with "Solved the problem the PC can't create PPTP connection to TL-R600VPN unless reboot" and I have updated the firmware for Hardware V2 . However, the problem still cannot be solved. I still need to reboot the VPN again and again in order to create PPTP connection. I would be appreciated if anyone can help me to solve this problem.
TL-R600VPN
Firmware Version: 1.2.3 Build 140801 Rel.49374n
Hardware Version: R600VPN v2 00000000
Hardware Version :

Once i also have the problem, i asked tp-link support. They give me this fw:
https://static.tp-link.com/2018/201802/20180224/TL-R600VPN(UN)_V3_20180207_Beta.zip. have a try

Does it supports Hardware V2 ?
yes, sure. and it's suggested to upgrade into V3 official firmware at first if your hardware is v2.

I have upgraded to V3 and will check its stability.
Meanwhile, should i upgrade to V4 ? I found that there was a V4 version in official website. Is it more stable and functional?

I don't think so. as i know, v4 is another chipset. we cannot upgrade into v4 version
