HiI have 2 EAP225 v3 access points both running the latest firmware and both connected to the same switch.One of the access points keeps dropping its connection to the switch down to 100mb instead of 1gb. The other access point remains solid at 1gb.I have swapped the switch and cables but the speed keeps dropping.Does anyone have any suggestions please.

What type of ethernet cable are you using between your router and access point? Cat 5e? Cat 6?
How long is the cable?
Do you have anything between your router and access point? Switch?

I Have a similar trouble.
We have conected de EAP 225 trough de POE link to the switch. Both cables are CAT6.
The speed is ever below 100 Mb.

The thread opener had the problem that the switch and the EAP225 negotiated 100 Mbps (100BASE-T) protocol speed instead of 1 Gbps (1000BASE-T). This is most often caused by a bad cable or by bad contacts in the plugs.
I guess your problem is rather data throughput if below 100 Mbps, but not the protocol speed negotiated between the switch and the EAP, right?
Data throughput over a wireless link depends on many environmental parameters and on the client device's capapbilities. See this thread for an in-depth discussion of data throughput one can achieve over an EAP225 with a modern client and appropriate EAP settings. In the thread linked above there are lot of tipps how find out what might be the cause for a low data throughput with a given client device.
Also keep in mind that wireless throughput and even Ethernet througput is always higher than pure data throughput measured by speed tests. Pure data throughput is sometimes also called goodput to distinguish it from the throughput of Ethernet frames over a switch or WiFi frames over an EAP (see also the first comment on the linked blog post about typical real-world goodput values).

According to your description, you have a slow speed when you connect your client device to the EAP. How did you test your speed?
What the speed you mentioned is the wireless speed or link speed?
Another question, which band is in question? 2.4G or 5G?

Wireless Speed.
I have measured the speed by 2 different aplications. One of them is Movistar APP.
The wireless Speed measured directly at Movistar Router is about 500 Mb with the same apps,
After a Factory Reset the results are little worst. 2,4 GHz <-> 20 MHz Up
Firmware, firstime 2.5, after upgraded to 2.6

2 range are in question. Both below 90 Mb.

@Melmar I had the same problem, even a device does not download more than 1 mb, change the security settings, and nothing, create a new SSID and nothing worked for me, I did not find anything else so i have to factory reset and reconfigure, with the same name on the SSID and finally it was solved, it is not a professional solution but a hard reset never fails.
