The switch works fine for a few hours to a day or so then it just stops working. I unplug the Cat-5 cable from the switch that comes from the router and plug it back in and it starts working again. Is there anyway to correct this behavor? I do not want it to go into a power saving/sleep mode.

Dosn't anyone have an idea why this switch behaves the way it does?

First of all, you should understand, that it is one of tplinks best-seller, so I suggest to think about problem from your side firstly. I bet it is a cable problem. I would change patch-cord, if it is possible. Do you have any error on your network connection on PC? No link maybe or unkown connection? The only problem, which could be with switch, is hardware problem, so you should just go to service-center/shop.
