Hi.

Apologies if this has been covered already, but I cannot find any posts.

We are currently using EAP Controller SW v2.5.4 and would like to upgrade to Omada, but the EAP120 is not listed on supported devices.

Has anyone got any experience of using Omada with EAP120, and in particular the upgrade process?

Thanks.

At first, the controller software named EAP Controller, they changed the name as Omada COntroller, that is to say, EAP Controller is the same as Omada Controller. If we want to use Controller to mange EAP120,If we want to use Controller to mange EAP120, the recommended controller version is 2.5.4, the later version don't support EAP120, if you use the later version to manage EAP120, there may be some unknown problems.

Yes, Omada/EAP Controller Software version 2.5.4 is the latest one can use with the EAP120 - any version later and it doesn't get recognised.

I've not really understood why the 120 (which was perceived as a better model within the range) isn't able to be used when lesser units such as the EAP-110-Outdoor unit still can be used and indeed has a firmware upgrade to run the very latest controller software. We're running several mixed environments with EAP225 v3 and the older 110-Outdoor with the latest Controller software v3.0.4 where the older devices are working great.
