Hello all.  So, I am trying to setup 4 VLANs, each with Internet access, but no access to each other.  As for administration, if it supports administering each VLAN from one of them, then great, otherwise I am fine switching SSIDs to administer them.  I am attaching a desired topology, although it is missing the Guest VLAN on there (after thought).   I have the following equipment, and would like the following configuration(ish)...

Hardware

Router:  TL-ER6020 v2,    IP 192.168.10.1,     DHCP Server

Switch:  TL-SG108E v4,    IP  192.168.10.2

Access Point:  EAP225 v3  IP:  192.168.10.3

VLANS

VLAN_1   SSID: The_Views  5.0 Ghz.

VLAN_2   SSID: The_Views_AV   5.0Ghz

VLAN_3   SSID: Guest   2.4 Ghz.

VLAN_4   SSID: Dahua (Ethernet to Port 8 of switch)  for security cameras

Switch Ports

Port 1 - To Router  (WAN)

Port 2 - To Wireless AP

Port 3-7 - VLAN_1 (The Views)

Port 8 - VLAN_4 (Dahua)

I am unsure if the VLANs will be setup in the router or the switch, as they both support them. I am also assuming that I will need to setup Multi-SSID in my AP?   I also don't need separate subnets, but if it is possible with this configuration, then the more the merrier... Also, if other equipment is required, please let me know that as well.

Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.  If you have any questions, feel free to reach out...

Thank you,

Mike

Hi HeMi

I try to provide some configuration. You can try to test. wink

Try to configure VLAN for switch and router.

For switch,

VLAN1: port 3-8, untagged, port 1-2 tagged

VLAN2: port 1-2, tagged

VLAN3: port 1-2, tagged

VLAN4: port 1,8, tagged If you devices connected to port 8 do not support VLAN tag, you need to configure port 8 as untagged and change the PVID of port 8 to 4.

For router,

Add the port connected to the switch to VLAN 1-4 and set up the port as tagged for all VLANs.

You topology only show VLAN 1-3. The above configuration is only related to your text.

Worked great...  Thank you much!!!  Although, for some reason, I am not able to choose your response as "best solution"; only my own replys...
