Have an OC200 on a remote site,

    powered over the USB port, ( USB power from a NAS box )

workd fine, till last weekend,  when could no longer access via cloud...

got it back today, it seems to have reset to a 'default, recovey mode' on the web page.

Its responsive on the default IP, reboot does just that

    but the mac, model and version all show up as XXXXX ,

I have tried to re flash it, but it reports erros at 72 % update.

any thign else I can try before we retunr it ?

You mean the OC200 will reset itself automatically, and the mac, model and version all show up as XXXXX in the web management page? If possible, please take a screenshot of it.

Do you mean when you are trying to re-upgrade the firmware of OC200, it will report the error? If possible, please take a screenshot of it.

@and_m

I have a similar case. The OC200 was working fine for 2 months and lately I noticed that it usually offline. So I did a site visit since I'm managing it over the cloud, internet is working fine but the controller is not seen in the DHCP table of the router (ip block is 192.168.0.1-254). I tried power cycle it 1st but no good, so I push the reset button for 5 seconds and it I can ping it at 192.168.0.253. I tried access it via https://192.168.0.1 but page cannot be displayed. I tried http://192.168.0.253 and recovery mode showed up. I went ahead and loaded the latest 1.2.0 Build 20190823 Rel.42002 and it rebooted. When I tried to add it via cloud using browser of App, no good (device is offline).

@911qwerty1069

Hello,

You say you cannot manage the OC200 because it is offline. Actually, if  the OC200 doesn't connect to the internet normally, this devcie will be in a offline status. In this situation, we will not be able to manage the OC200 via the Cloud. So please check if your OC200 is connected to the internet normally.

By the way, OC 200 is offline on the Omada APP, how about the status on the OC200? You can have a check.

@forrest

Thank you for looking into this thread. The OC200 is connected to a working router with active internet connection. I already remove the OC200 from my cloud account since it's showing offline eventhough the router has active internet access.
