We are having an issue with setting up Dyndns account with model number TL-R480T+
We cannot setup two Dyndns host names in this. Only WAN 1 is working any of the host names. But WAN2 always fails saying "DDNS not launching!"

You’d better double check WAN port 2 is enabled, and working properly.
After that, do the DDNS settings again. Are both DDNS accounts working fine? You know, they should be successfully set up, then you can use them.

Ok. Now I have enabled the WAN Port 2 DDNS. But the DDNS accounts are fine, I have swapped and checked. Both accounts still working only in port one. Also If I try to change number of WAN ports this router re-boots with factory defaults without even letting us know. That is very strange from the beginning.

If WAN 1 is working, WAN 2 should indeed work with the same settings. Maybe you can check the firmware on the TP-LINK website, if there is a new one to upgrade, it’s worth a try.

the firmware version of my router is 3.9.2 Build 101230 Rel.40319s, Hardware Version R480T+ V4 00000000, it seems there is a new one to update. I will try and see whether it helps or not.

yes!! Thank god, I upgrade the firmware, reset, and reconfigure the DDNS settings on the router, it finally works! Thanks so much for your suggestion.
