Model: AP200
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 2.40 (most recent one)

Hi all,

I still have issues in the connection between one particular client (a WiFi controlled multi-room audio system with UNDOK app) and my stand-alone EAP225: after a reboot of the AP everything is fine but after a few hours the audio system simply disappears and is not reachable - although still listed in the AP's active client list. Sometimes I see a 169.254.x.x IP, too indicating that the DHCP router (standard cable router) is not able to provide an IP address. Lease time is 2 hrs. All very strange. I already send the audio system in repair but the manufacturer assures that hard- and firmware is ok and shows zero issues even afters days of testing in their WiFi network...

Anyways, being frustrated enough I purchased an additional EAP225 just to be sure from which hardware the incompatibility originates from and now BIG SURPRISE: the new EAP225 label shows a HW version 3.1 !!! So my question is: what is the difference between V3.0 and V3.1? Both EU versions....bought via a "very popular online store"

Cheers, Manfred

Sooo, now after 12 hrs of operation the new EAP225 V3.1 with 2.40 FW shows the same issues as my previous V3.0 ... the clients "disappear" from the WiFi network and are no longer reachable - as if SSID isolation gets switched on. Any PING doesn't go through "Destination host not reachable" even though all clients incl. the audio system is still active in the EAP's client list with a valid IP address. In addition a manual on/off by the audio system's buttons show that the audio system is fully operational and Internet radio works fine.

Therefore I belive that the recent FW 2.40 has a severe bug, as SSID isolation was shifted into the "Guest" feature in 2.40.
