Hello,

Any plans for Omada routers soon? I just bought an EAP245V3 tempted by promised performance over UAP AC PRO but Ive found that TP Link seems not to have a suitable router to be used with the Omada controler. I would hate to have mixed brands and apps to manage my network. Please advice and huge thanks!

Hi Hdmuzzillo,

Now Omada Controller can only manage the EAP products, and we don't have Omada routers, but I will add your suggestion to the suggestion list.

Thanks for your feedback.

We are planning to publish Omada SDN system in this year. Then the Omada EAP will have it's own suitable Omada firewall, Router, Switch.

For now, if the total clients number is about 100, we suggest you choosing the ER6120 or ER5120 Router.

Thanks for your reply

Omada SDN system would be a mandatory move imho. Ive tried 245s and coverage is ok while performance is really fast and way much cheaper than UAP PROs for my market, still Ive the feeling that family can inprove long way with own ecosystem support as Unify offer. Im amazed by 245 speed but still some missing features hope can improve soon. Right now Im debating myself into build my future network based at 245 but Ill have to mix brands to suit my needs or turn Unify. I reely would love to give SND a chance.! BRs.
