Model: CPE510
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: current

We have multiple CPE510 (v2) working fine powered via passive POE included with the CPE510.  Now we need to tap into POE cable to pull 5V 2A for one WiFi webcam per CPE510.

Can this be accomplished with a POE splitter?

Do we need to replace the CPE510 Passive POE injector?

Thanks,

CEL

Hi CEL:

The Adapter of CPE510 is based on Passive POE(24V),how to transfer 24v to 5V if he do not use other device?

Passive POE is differnet from standard poe also, Do you have one Passive POE spiltter?

thanks for your input. I understand I need a POE splitter. The question is which one, as all the ones I've seen are for 48 volt input.

TL-POE10R supports 5V/2A output, but it is 802.3af. Just use TL-POE150S+TL-POE10R. You can also use TL-POE200 package. In fact, TL-POE200 uses passive poe 48V, so you can try to find some other vendor poe-splitter (like TL-POE200B), which will support 48V input.
