I have found the settings online to be
smtp-mail.outlook.com
port: 587 ssl (tls)
Sadly when I try to use them in omada controller it just says it cant connect. Error in authenticating server.
Could be caused by a wrong name in the HELO message of the SMTP protocol implemented in Omada Controller.
If the receiving Mail Transfer Agent demands the real hostname in the HELO message (see RFC2821/RFC5321), connecting Omada Controller to this MTA isn't possible due to a missing setting for HELO messages in OC. If you have control over the MTA, you can turn »namecheck« off, but doing so increases the change for receiving more SPAM emails (»namecheck« is an anti-SPAM protection).
I did report this to TP-Link already long time ago, but it still did not made it into Omada Controller.
