Model: OC200
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20190419 Rel.43063

Hi, I can't connect to my OC200 Cloud Controller via Cloud. I get a " Failed to connect to controller" without any details.

I've checked all, OC200 is accessible from web browser, all seems ok but from cloud is ko.

Should I open some ports on firewall or not?

I tried to disable the firewall but all remains the same.

Hello,

Do you mean that when you try to open the OC200 on the https://omada.tplinkcloud.com/login, you get a "Failed to connect to controller", yes?

1. Please make sure that you bind your TP-Link ID to the OC200 successfully.

2. Use different browsers to have a try.

3. What's the version of your firmware? We recommend you to upgrade the firmware to teh latest version.

4. It would be better if you can send us a screenshot for your problem.

Hi, the controller is successfully binded to the cloud service, but when I click on Launch it says to me the message.

As i wrote before, the firmware version is:  1.1.1 Build 20190419 Rel.43063 .

I tried with the application, with another browser too, with no success. The error is the same.

My question is: should I open some ports on my router/firewall?

Thanks.

Hi,

From the screenshot we klnow that you cannot open the OC200 on your Omada APP.

Normally this problem is caused by the connection of the OC200. You needn't to open some ports on the router/firewall, just check the IP address and the connection of the OC200.

@forrest i have exactly the same problem.

Oc200 with last firmware. I can access locally but I can't by cloud.

When I check with my cloud account it shows active but when I launch the connection fails.

Please what should I do

@Tahiros

I think this may be related to network speed.

Please try it many times and see the result. If you still have the issue, please tell us.

Same issue here. Using software controller. Account is bound to cloud w/o issues, but getting "Failed to connect to controller." when attempting to connect from the Omada cloud site. Controller Version 3.2.7

I have same issue. LAN speed is gigabit in our case. Never had issues with speed before. Ever.

@Sorcerer

If this issue occurred only once time, it may be a problem when OC200 is connected to the cloud, it may be related to the network environment. If the issue occurs again, please check the cloud LED of the OC200. If the LED is off, we cannot login to the OC200 vai the APP.
