No the problem is that clients like the iPhone need to operate on the same lan from many applications.
Cisco has the option of DHCP allocated IP address on the same subnet.
TP-Link does not seem to supply that option with its Pool selection.

If I DHCP IP's cannot be supplied via PPTP then I will have to return it.

My LAN IP range is 192.168.2.1/24 (subnet mask 255.255.255.0) and my DHCP range is 192.168.2.100 thru 192.168.2.199. I need to be able to set the PPTP client address pool to be within the LAN IP range (say 192.168.2.200 thru 192.168.2.220). Why? Because when clients connect, the ER6120 only hands out the subnet of the PPTP address pool as the local IP subnet. So unless a client is set to use the VPN as the default gateway (which is generally bad), then the clients will never know about the 192.168.2.1/24 LAN IP range. Note that this could probably be solved by adding a static route to the LAN IP on the clients, but most clients can't do that.

This is also a deal-breaker for me since without this I don't have a reliable VPN server which is the whole reason I bought the ER6120! Thanks in advance for any help...

I am having the same problem! This thing's going back unless this is fixed. Anyone with any information would be greatly appreciated!

Just create static route on routing. In destination type PPTP local and on Hop your LAN. And it is working for me. After 7 days........

Thanks Radule, I will try this. Unfortunately I am doubtful that it will pass broadcast packets. Can you confirm that broadcasts on one subnet will be received on the other subnet? What about in the opposite direction?

Radule, when I type "PPTP local" into the destination field of the static route config page, I get the error, "Invalid IP address! Please enter another one!"

If your IP is for example "192.168.2.25" you need to type "192.168.2.0" and same for hope in example "192.168.5.200" type "192.168.5.0"

How did you verify that it is working on your network? Can a Windows VPN client see local Windows machines across the subnets?
