Oc200 Controller offline then online again
Hi All,
I receive notifications in my phone that my controller went offline and then online again right away. This happens very frequently, like every few minutes, randomly. Please see screenshot attached. I am using a portal login for my guests to login to the internet.
In my router, I have a dhcp reservation for oc200 controller which is 192.168.0.13. In the controller itself I use static IP setting
IP address 192.168.0.13
IP mask 255.255.255.0
Getaway 192.168.0.1
Primary DNS 203.142.82.222.
What could be wrong?

What fixed my issue is this. I contacted support.sg@tp-link.com. They gave me a beta software after not being able to find the cause issue. Even until now I do not know what is the root of the issue. Maybe ip conflict, or dhcp reservation or ip static or dynamic or my dual wan router. I do not know. But installing the beta fixed it.
My beta firmware is 20191213
The current firmware is 20191126
Please upgrade beta firmware and watch the working status of OC200, if problem is still existing, please send us the log.
The download link is here. Please check!

I used that version and it fixed my issue. I never upgrade to any newer software again coz it's not worth the trouble. I continue using that version even until now. I hope it helps. If u have further issues. Kindly contact them the email above. Again I bear no risk and responsibility for the software. Good luck and Cheers

@Rbuetow I have a similar issue and similar cable modem. How did you change the switch IP? was it a direct connection with the cable modem temporarily disconnected? I cant seem to get 192.168.0.1 to get me to the switch, keep getting the Arris interface. Thanks

@ivanr I wonder when the new SDN-software is available for the OC200. Other hardware like EAP245v3 has the new firmware and also de software cloud control is updated. Why not the OC200?...

@ivanr
As per checking on the OC200's specs. It accepts 802.3 af or at
If you can check the screen shot below. It require a minimum power of 15.4 watts.
So what I did, I get my phone adapter charger that is a quick charger with a maximum output power of 33 watts but this charger can still deliver 15 watts enough to deliver power to the OC 200.
For now, this resolved the issue of the frequent Online-Offline.
