Oc200 Controller offline then online again
Hi All,
I receive notifications in my phone that my controller went offline and then online again right away. This happens very frequently, like every few minutes, randomly. Please see screenshot attached. I am using a portal login for my guests to login to the internet.
In my router, I have a dhcp reservation for oc200 controller which is 192.168.0.13. In the controller itself I use static IP setting
IP address 192.168.0.13
IP mask 255.255.255.0
Getaway 192.168.0.1
Primary DNS 203.142.82.222.
What could be wrong?

Hello,
From the message we can know that the OC200 is often offline, which should be related to the network or the OC200.
Just upgrade the firmware of OC200 to the latest version, then have a check. If it is convenient for you, please upload the log file of the OC200, we may see some information from the log.

Stop using static IP on the OC200. Set it to DHCP if you are using DHCP reservation on your router

@ivanr I am having the same issue. I just installed it yesterday and it has gone offline close to 100 times. I am also having problems with my Nest Cams. Other devices seem fine. I have 3 AP's (only 2 deployed so far) and a new TP Link managed switch. Did you get a solution?

Same here! Connstantly having on- and offline issues with the OC200 controller. Static ip or DHCP makes no difference. It happens mostly at night (in the Netherlands).
A lot of people in The Netherlands are having the same issue! We are talking about a professional bsiness-solution here! Please make it work sowe don't have to switch to Ubiquiti..

This sounds odd. I do not have an OC200, but am running the same software on a Raspberry Pi. Version 3.2.10.
It's been solid since I installed it, and better since I moved the RPi from wifi (hey it was easy) to wired. :)
For me, 3.2.10 has been good.
Some things to look at:
- is the power to the OC200 ok?
My RPi was "undervoltage" and "throttled" desplite using a good USB power brick (Apple iPad charger, 2.1A). Turns out the 1m (3 ft) micro-USB cable was the issue. I replaced it with a short (30cm/12") cable and all was good.
- is the LAN cable ok?
Try a different cable in case the cable is intermittent. Sometimes they can have an intermittent issue. Try a different cable.
- is the Ethernet port ok?
Again, sometimes an Ethernet port can be intermittent. Try a different one.

I solved my problem. I should have posted here. The static IP set for my TP LInk Switch by default was 192.168.0.1. My Arris Cable modem has the static gateway IP set with the same address (and it cannot be changed). Once I change the TP Link to 192.168.0.254 all the OC200 problems went a way and never returned. The weird thing about the IP address conflict was that almost everything else on my network continued to run just fine. Also, I think it would be helpful if the TP Link switch was set to a different address by default.

@nojak Tried all that but thats not the problem. Last night it went offline again (app-notification) but the OC200 was online. Nothing to see in the log. I guess its a problem with the app. Re-installing did not do the trick so it goes deeper than that. I think I just have to wait untill TP-Link solves the problem (whenever that may be...)

Last night I received the update for the OC200. The problem is still there. Several push notifications on the app that the controller is offline and online again. Due to my work the sound on my phone is on so this is keeping me awake. If TP-Link doesn't come with a solution very very very quick everything from TP-link in my network (and that is a lot) will be replaced by another brand like Ubiquiti. And this supposed to be a Business Solution??? At this time I do not recommend TP-Link tot any of my business partners.
