From your IP address and routing table, it seems has not problem. If you connect a PC to the router, can the PC get IP address and ping the router?

From Client Box with ip 192.168.252.2, I can obviously ping R470T+ LAN Interface (192.168.2.254), and also WAN Interface (192.168.1.6)
But I can't ping the GateWay of WAN Interface (192.168.1.1) NOR internet (8.8.8.8)

Save your configuration and try to reset your router. If still has the problem, you can check the ARP table for R470T+ and its gateway. It's for confirming has not IP conflict.
For R470T+, you can access Firewall->Anti ARP Spoofing->ARP Table. You need to know the LAN MAC of R470T+'s gateway. Then confirm whether the ARP is correct.
You also can use wireshark to capture the packets for WAN port. But you need to know about wireshark and port mirror.
Maybe R470T+ did not forward the packets, maybe its gateway did not reply R470T+.
