Hi,

 

I'm using EAP245 with Omada 3.0.x:

 

I have one EAP that seems stuck to 100 mbps speed, but it is located on ceiling.

Before investigating with big ladder, I have checked with Omada LAN information but

unfortunately only stats are displayed, is it hidden or unavailable ?

 

If unavailable, it should be nice to be added in a future version ;)

You could check the speed indicator of the switch the AP is connected to or by logging into the EAP using ssh and checking the eth0 settings:

 

1. Enable ssh in Omada controller/web UI

2. Connect to the EAP and execute those commands:

 

/ $ cat /sys/class/net/eth0/speed
1000
/ $ cat /sys/class/net/eth0/duplex
full
/ $

 

I guess you use wrong/unshielded patch cable if speed is limited to 100 Mbps.

Thanks, I'm not aware that I could login with SSH on EAP,

 

I'll try this as soon as possible

As you guess (and that was my fear), the AP is connected though a 100M cable

Shoud be no problem for an electrician to replace it, but give him exact specification of the cable to be used. wink
