Model: TL-ER6120
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 3.0.1

Used to separate the internal domain network(fixed ip) by the second segment of the ip address.

Initially, communication between separate networks only needed to be done form the LAN side to the WAN side, so it was almost the default setting.

------setting-----------------------------------------------------

WAN1: Static IP

             IP Address              140.aa.0.2

             Subnet Mask           255.255.0.0

             Default Gateway     140.aa.0.1

             Primary DNS           [DC IP Address]

             Vlan                           336(default)

LAN:   IP Address                140.bb.0.1

            Subnet Mask            255.255.0.0

            Vlan                            436(default)

Vlan:  ID                                 1

           Vlan ID                        336

           Name Vlan336

           Ports                            1(UNTAG)

           ID                                  2

           Vlan ID                         436

           Name                           Vlan436

           Ports                            5(UNTAG)

NAT:           Default

Routing:     Default

Firewall:     attack defense

                   ・Block Large Ping ×

                   ・Block ping from WAN ×

VPN:           Default

UPnP:         Enable UPnP

                    Interface   WAN1

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

However, it became necessary to temporarily enable operation from the WAN side to the LAN side.

I would like to use TL-ER6120 as it is, turn off the Vlan environment, and enable  bidirectional communication, but I don't know how to s et it. Excuse me, but please give me a professor.

Here is what I want to do:

 1) I want to treat the WAN as a LAN and use it like an L2 switch.

 2) I want to ping from a WAN side to a computer without a LAN side network.

Please  your cooperation.

Do you mean that you need to disable NAT function? Unfortunately ER6120 cannot do that unless you use V1.0. Because the NAT exist, you cannot ping the devices from WAN side.
