Hi!

 

I just installed 2 EAP245 in my office and they have been working perfectly except for one issue.

 

my ISP provides fiber to the office at 600Mbps download and 100Mbps upload. Via cable, download and upload show said speed. But via wifi I get around 400Mbps (which is fine, there are e couple of walls between the nearest AP and my phone) and 0.2Mbps upload which makes several services unusable.

 

For example, in WhatsApp I can send and receive messages without issue but images take a lot of time to upload.

 

Maybe I configured something wrong?

Try to use a clean channel, and change the channel width.

And are your APs close to each other? If yes, you can reduce the Tx power to have a try. 

Besides, can you confirm which band has the slow speed issue?

Channels are clean, there's very little interference as other routers are far from my setup.

 

APs are around 10 meters from each other but with a few thick walls between them.

 

After further testing I found that the slow upload speed happens only in the 5GHz. band. Even when I'm in visual range of the AP with no obstruction I get around 0.2Mbps.

 

When I'm in 2.4GHz., it works fine.
