Model: EAP245
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 2.3.1 Build 20191029 Rel. 61589(5553)

Hi All,

I configured my eap245 v3 today and things were working well UNTIL I updated to the latest firmwae.

Now I am unable to ssh to the lan interface from a network other than the same network as the access point itself.  Like the guest network not being able to reach other private ips, seems like this should be a firewall function for a business class access point.

Is this expected behavior?  Is there some way to possible turn this off via the command line interface?

Thanks in

@mymlact, yes, it's expected behavior.

See the fine manual:

@R1D2

Thatnks for the quick reply.

Unfortunately I am using the eap in stand alone mode and that option is not there.  The only check box is the "Enable" check box,.

We have a very small office and only needed the one so I didn't see the need for the controller.

Thanks

@mymlact, unfortunately I can't test an EAP245 in stand-alone mode. Maybe someone from TP-Link can comment on ssh access in EAP's stand-alone mode.
