Hello to everyone,

ist it possible to update from v2.3.4 to Omada_Controller_3.2.7?

Accesspoint are 13x EAP220.

I want to move the controller from an physical pc to vmware so i want to install the new controller and install the backup.

I dont`t know if i have to update the controller first and make then an backup or can i install the new controller software and install the software backup.

Thanks for every help or informations

@sasha-b EAP220 has been EOF for a long time, so the new Omada Controller doesn't support it. If we use the Omada Controller 3.2.7 to manage the EAP220, we are not sure if there will be something when it works.

We recommend you to use Controller 2.5.4 to manage the EAP220, you can doenload the Controller 2.5.4 from the website:

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/eap-controller/#Controller_Software

@sasha-b, unfortunately EAP220 are not compatible to Omada controller V3.2.7 as shown in the release notes:

We recommend you to use Controller 2.5.4 to manage the EAP220, you can doenload the Controller 2.5.4 from the website:
