Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hi there.

I have a productive network with a WLC Cisco in a house, this WLC and my endpoints are connected to my switch Cisco L3 acting like DHCP Server. I need wireeless network in the garden of the home, I can´t install cooper cabling and my best option was the EAP225 outdoor in Mesh configuration.

I installed one EAP like root and 2 like mesh and put its own SSID call "Garden", thee problem is:

* When I put the TPLink in the same VLAN of my Cisco AP, the switch recieve duplicate IP for the same mac address in my network.

I isolated my WLC cisco and my Tplink Mesh in differet VLAN, but I recieve a error from my VLAN

the qustion is, haw can i configure my port where is connected my EAP255 root? Trunk, Access, tagged, untagged.

Thanks a lot.

@agoma, find the device using the duplictae IP and change its IP to an unused IP from your network. For example, if your router uses IP 192.168.x.1 and your switch uses IP 192.168.x.254, assign the root node EAP a static IP 192.168.x.250, the first mesh node IP 192.168.x.251 and the third mesh node IP 192.168.x.252 (if those addresses are not used by other devices already).

@R1D2

The problem is not the IP for the EAP is the DHCP IP for my endpoints.

@agoma, the same applies for DHCP IPs: never use the same IP for two or more devices. How to achieve this is up to you.
