Omada Controller Insight Statistics
So I am a little unclear as to what the Insight tab is for. Specifically the Client Statistics. It only shows 3 of the 10 devices that have been connected to my system for the past couple of days. Is this just showing clients that have over a specific amount of data usage? Is there a way to clear or reset this list?

Hi @Reef-a-Holic,
Hmmmm, strange. My Insight tab (on the OC-200) shows more than 70+ devices stretching back over the course of a year (I have OC-200 data retention set for 365 days).
At any given time, I have 35-45 active wireless devices.

@Reef-a-Holic today it shows more clients, but their seems to be no rime or reason to what cleints it shows. for instace my apple TV has the most download data but it is not there. so perhaps it is because it is too new to the system, well it shows my amazon echo with only 30 minutes of connection time. the only columns that appear on Insight that do not appear on the clients page is "duration" and "Last seen". All of the other data appears on the client tab. I guess I am missing the point of this tab.

Yeah,
I get the difference between currently connected (aka "Clients") and previously connected (aka "Insight") but in reality both views are showing much/all of the same information. In "Insight" you can toggle between "All" and "Offline Only".
It seems like these two views (Clients and Insight) should be combined, and there should be a toggle at the top which lets you selection: 1) Online Now, 2) Offline Now, 3) ALL
It's a little confusing at first that the connection time refers to the row before (aka starts on Row 2 (2020-04-15 07:17:41)) through row 1 (2020-04-18 12:34:14). I assume the data is for that time period as well.

3day(s) 3h 56m 58s |

3.18 G |
2020-04-15 07:17:41 |
1day(s) 13h 1m 47s |
6.77 G |
2.52 G |

I'd rather see the start and end times on the same row as separate columns (aka 4 cols total).
I'd also like to see some rollup / aggregate stats by time period selected. (by hour, day, week, etc.) and the ability to export the data to csv or something. Similarly client signal strength and connection rate would also be useful. as would errors, etc.

Wrong. »Clients« shows devices currently connected. »Insight« shows accumulated data of those client devices for the selected time span (»All«, »Last 1 Day«, »Last 3 Days« etc.) and the date they were last seen.

Not possible with OC200, but with software controller: see script clientHist in this post. But makes sense only for the client's »Connection History«, not for »Insight«.

@Reef-a-Holic - is it possible to find out how much data has been used on a particular day as I think my ISP is overstating the amount?
