Hi elmado,

sorry, didn't see this at first that you use 3.2.10 with new mongodb.

Now the file is updated, please have a try. Same filename, different checksums:

$ md5sum -b omada-controller_3.2.10-2_all.deb
b96a849dcfcfc00cedf3025f09d69f27 *omada-controller_3.2.10-2_all.deb
$ sha256sum -b omada-controller_3.2.10-2_all.deb
bed7771a2ba5eb7f14cd46b84dabe0e3844f0d697c500859a9452f7601f1996e *omada-controller_3.2.10-2_all.deb

 @R1D2 ha I didn't actually say. So not your fault. I've installed the updated 4x and am running it now.

Would like to update to 3.2.10 as a backup option. :)

@R1D2

you wrote:

I have set mongodb-org v3.6.10 as minimum requirement. Omada Controller should run with this or newer versions of mongodb-org.

Maybe I am not correct. But by setting this you basically exclude all raspberry PI users from this package and 4.1.5-1 will be the last.

Because since 64 bit OS is still unstable on RASPI and is not supported out of the box.

Forcing me also to setup the future versions of Omada Controller based on the source code and not on this package anymore.

Bit disappointing to my point of view. And that while its working very well at the moment with current release.

@Ronald1965,

which mongodb version does your OS in the docker image use?

I can use the lowest version number for which we know it's working with OC. No problem! I just need to know it.

Please post the exact version string your dpkg -l lists for mongodb or mongodb-org and I will change the package dependency accordingly.

@R1D2

If I have 4.1.5 running successfully, should I still install the new .deb file?

Thanks

@unmesh, no you don't need to update, the program files didn't change.

What mongodb package are you using on which platform?

Can you please post the output of the command: dpkg -l | fgrep mongodb

Thanks in advance.

@unmesh, thanks! For those using the mongodb package nothing has changed. Minimum version required is v2.6.1 as it was before. For those using the new mongodb-org package minimum version required is v3.6.10, but only b/c it seems that there was no official 3.6.1 at all.

BTW: the handling of 32bit vs. 64bit binaries in Linux is a big mess.

On Silicon Graphic's IRIX we could run 64bit binaries on 32bit systems and 32bit binaries on 64bit systems. This was state of the art in 1995.

We could even compile sources to generate 64bit binaries on 32bit systems.

Now it's 2020 and Linux still has this 32bit vs. 64bit issue.
