Model: OC200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.7.0 Build 20200703 Rel.59609

Dear People,

I have here a new OC200 which I installed yesterday. The original FW was about 1.2 (as I remember). After installing, it adopted the only one existing EAP320 and worked without problem. Then I upgraded the OC200 to FW 1.7.  After upgrading the FW, I had to re-install the oc200 like after settings-reset, but it does not adopt the eap320 like with FW 1.2.

So is it real that after upgrading the oc200's firmware to 1.7, that I can't use a EAP320 anymore - or would it still be possible anyhow?

Other EAPs like a EAP245 is adopted without problems, so maybe the eap320 is too old for that oc200's firmware?

Just before all operations, I resetted the eap320 and upgraded the firmware manually, before adopting it to the oc200 (with FW1.2).

Many thanks for any hint!

Kind regards

Tom

@Pfalztomas,

see section »Omada SDN Compatibility List« in the pinned posting just above yours here.

Note that Omada SDN Controller is a new product, not only a firmware update.

More on this in the »Omada Controller Upgrade Guide« everyone should read before upgrading to V1.7.0.

BTW, EAP320 is already EoL since a while now.
