@faajr, »the EAPs keep on disconnecting« is much to vague to be able to help. Please give more infos:

Which hardware and firmware versions have the EAPs?

Have they been connected successfully to the SDN Controller before?

If so, what did you change?

Did you check the network connection already?

Can you ping the EAPs and the controller?

Is the SDN Controller running all the time?

@R1D2

Which hardware and firmware versions have the EAPs?

They upgraded the EAP245 & EAP225-outdoor to the latest FW as per instruction.

Have they been connected successfully to the SDN Controller before?

Yes, they succesfully installed the SDN controller and adopt the EAP.

If so, what did you change?

Nothing, but when they leave it for sometime. some of EAPs get disconnected & needs to adopt again.

Did you check the network connection already?

Everything is working perfectly in the network. PC connected have internet, some EAPs are connected.

Can you ping the EAPs and the controller?

Yes, unless that situation happens.

Is the SDN Controller running all the time?

Yes.

Since they are running a hotel. I suggested to have it reverted back old Omada SW controller & FW for the EAPs. I gave your step by step instructions I saw in the forum with screenshot they will try it again soon. If the situation persist I will let you know. But if you have some idea hoping you could share it.

There setup is all TP-Link as shown below:

1 router- TL-er6120v3
1 switch  TL-T26000G-28ts
3 switch  TL-T1600G-28ps
1 switch  TL-T1500G-10ps
1 switch TL-T1500G-10mps
5 switch TL-sg108pe

30 eap245 v3

1 eap225 indoor v3

13 eap225 outdoor v1

Yes, unless that situation happens.

If EAPs suddenly disappear from the network and can't be pinged anymore, there is an issue with the network, e.g. a bad cable or a wrong setup or two devices using the same IP address or DHCP pool exhaustion etc. However, such a malfunction would appear with old controller version, too. If it happens only with SDN controller, it could be another issue.

If the controller doesn't respond to ping, it could be an issue with the PC running the controller (if it runs on a PC at all). In this case try to disable the personal firewall and anti-virus software on the PC.
