Model: TL-R470T+
Hardware Version: V6
Firmware Version: 6.0.2

Hello,

the internet is pretty slow where I live which is why I try to combine two ISPs. For that, I bought the TL-R470T+ in addition to two wireless access points TP-Link TL-WA901ND V5.0. The setup with the two APs was already working before I installed the TL-R470T+.

All devices that are connected using LAN have a working internet connection.

But there is a problem with devices connected over WIFI. Only my windows laptop has a working connection. All the other connected wireless devices do not work properly and I don't know why. However, all the devices that obtained an IP address over DHCP (including the not working wireless ones) show up in the DHCP client list of the TL-R470T+.

If you know how this fix this problem and could tell I would very much appreciate it if you do so.

Kind regards,
Moritz

@Moritz_Wallner

My suggestions:

1. Uplgrade the firmware to the latest one.

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/tl-r470t%252B/#Firmware

2. Use different IP addresses for the two TL-WA901ND V5.0 to avoid any IP conflict.

For example, the router has 192.168.0.1, one AP with 192.168.0.254, the other with 192.168.0.253.

3. Check if there is an update for the wireless adapters of your wireless clients.

Good Luck.

@Yannie

Thank you very much for your answer.
The IP of the router was 10.0.0.0 when the network was not working. However I made a factory reset on every network device I have and then changed the IP of the router to 10.0.0.1 in addition to the IPs of the two Access Points to 10.0.0.2 and 10.0.0.3.

But still, nothing was able to reach the internet.
Lastly, I set the DNS Servers to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 and then everything worked just fine.

Can it be that the 10.0.0.0 address is used by some devices maybe for broadcasting or something?

Thank you for your help.
