I am trying to set up this router which I have not used for several years as a very simple Ethernet network hub, so that I can run plug in my printer, etc., instead of in the back of my cable modem.  It will all be with cables.  my system is Windows 10 with a 200 MBS Internet connection.  I realize it is a 100 MBS router but I only want to use it for peripherals and not run my computer through it.  I have connected one Ethernet cable from the cable box to the computer and one from the cable box to the WAN port this router. I have done many steps but cannot get plug and play to work or the computer to find the router. It will not recognized by the control panel.  Is this piece of equipment compatible? any ideas on what I need to do to get it working?
