Model: EAP225
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 2.20.1

Hello,

What does the setting "Layer 3 accessibility" do in the SSH or Webserver access page?

Does it mean that if not checked, then I won't be able to access when not from the same network?

Thanks.

Hi joe-wifi,

according to the manual it's needed to access the EAP from a different subnet as you did guess already.

@R1D2 Thank you. I was probably checking an old manual and I couldn't find it. Mind to share the link of the manual you were using?

Thanks!

@joe-wifi, it was from v3.1.4, not available online anymore (I always save them locally).

But it should be documented in UG v3.2.1, too: https://static.tp-link.com/2019/201907/20190708/1910012624-Omada%20Controler-3.2.1-UG.pdf
