Hello Community,

 

 

I've been planning to expand my business of Point to Multipoint, this is the diagram of my 20 possible clients , they are in different to location so im planning to get 4 pieces to CPE710 to cover the 360deg area, right? 

 

On my base station, 4 piece of TP-Link CPE710 and for the clients are different CPE, TP-Link CPE710( for far clients), TP-Link CPE610 and  TP-Link CPE510, is this good?  

 

 

 

EDIT: Is that the best device for PtMP?

I don't think 4 pieces of CPE710 can cover the 360° area. The CPE710 is equipped with directional antennas and the Antenna Beamwidth is 9° (Azimuth)/7° (Elevation). If you want to use the CPE710 on the base station, you may add need more pieces.

9° (Azimuth)/7° (Elevation)

gosh! 9degree??? pretty good for ptp.

 

maybe i'll switch to CPE510? both clients and ap is CPE510 ... 

 

Edit: In 1 CPE510, how many clients can connect?

For PtP/PtMP topology, 20-50 clients; Fo hotspot WiFi topology, then 15-20 clients.
