Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.9 Build 20150715 Rel.33297

Hello all,

Would anyone know if there is a possibility to do a hardware upgrade for a JetStream 24-Port Gigabit L2 Managed PoE+ Switch (TL-SG3424P) from its V2 version, to its V4 version ?

I understand this device has reached its end of life, but the V4 still had a firmware update in August this year, suggesting it is relatively recent, whereas my V2 version is no longer updated since 2015. The JetStream is good and well suite my needs for a private network at home. I would therefore rather keep it, yet modernize it with newer hardware if there was such option.

Thanks for sharing possibilities.

Regards,

D.

Dear @D.Schmass,

Sorry, I'm afraid not. TL-SG3424P V2 cannot upgrade to the V4.

They are different hardware versions, means they are different devices. If you want V4 hardware, you may order a new one.

@Fae

Thanks for your answer, noted. Unfortunately, the V4 device is not sold here around. I will therefore keep my old device for the time being and then change it at another occasion.

Regards.
