Model: CPE710
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have a CPE710 AP with a few connected CPE510 clients.

Behind the cpe710 i have a TL-SG2428P switch and a pfsense router that i want to route everything.

Is there a way to manage the traffic from each station connected to the AP in its own vlan?

Could i set vlan tags directly in each cpe510?

I could change out the poe adapters that came with the cpe510 with MikroTik GPEN21 as i think i could manage vlan tags directly in them, but if theres already a possible with the equipment i have i rather not :)

Thanks.

Haven't tried that but I think you could try configuring management VLAN in each CPE510.

Below is the setup for your reference:

                                                                                        ~~~ CPE510 #1 (management VLAN10)
TL-SG2428P(tag VLAN10/20/30)------CPE710 AP )))((( ~~~ CPE510 #2 (management VLAN20)
                                                                                        ~~~ CPE510 #3 (management VLAN30)

After setting up management VLAN on the CPE, the connection to the CPE will be lost, it's normal because the setting is applied.

Please access the CPE page in the corresponding VLAN and click Save the change, otherwise, the setting will be cleared after a reboot.
