Hi, is it safe to connect tl-wa901N to poe power source  from tp-108PE since ap is passive poe device and switch is active poe.

Hey

 

I have never tried it, but the tl-wa901N only states "Passive POE" and no indication of AT standards, its likely it will not pull POE power from the switch

 

My guess is the device will likely work with the switch OK in terms of data and connection, however wont pull power from the POE.  

 

One to test first :)
