Model: EAP115-Wall
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I'm sorry for my lack of knowledge, but I am having a cat cable run from a Sky broadband router in to a small garden office.

All I want is wifi in the garden office for a laptop, printer, mobile phone and Alexa!

Will an EAP-115Wall do this, or should I be looking at something else?

Would I just plug the Cat Cable/Ethernet in to this device & would that power it too?

Any advice would be most welcome, I am not very tech knowledgeable! Thank you.

@Jrob147

Hi,

I believe you will need to have this one in the wall, connected to an ethernet cable, running through PoE.

Most likely the other end will need a PoE solution like a switch or a port providing this feature.

PoE actually means: no power supply, Power over Ethernet (via cable) but not all ports are like this.

Next I assume you will need to configure things further but the app should be pretty straight forward.

Looks a very neat solution indeed.

hope it helps.
