Model: EAP225-Outdoor
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 5.0.3

I'm using the Omada SDN Cloud, with compatible gateway, Switch, and several access points. However, since a few days back one of my access points has reported a status of "Isolated" and I can't seem to fix it. I have tried restarting everything, including the access point, and force re-provisioning but still seems stuck in that status.

I've attached a picture, hoping someone here could help point me in the right direction?

Thanks

@Theuksbest

Isolated equals to disconnected.

If this EAP supports Mesh feature, and it been adopted to the Controller before, and now disconnected from the network, the status will turn to isolated.

You should check the connection between this EAP and the front device.

@Virgo thanks, that's really helpful.

I did some more testing and it was the broken cable connection, one of the pairs has a break in it. (Pin 6)

Is it possible to run the device off of two pairs, are there any pin out diagrams too if so?

its outdoor cable run so not so easy to simply change the cable.

thanks in advance

@Theuksbest

This is all I know about the pin...

EAP225-Outdoor supports 802.3af PoE or 24 V Passive PoE (+4,5 pins; -7,8 pins).

Not sure if you are using standard PoE or passive PoE.

On the 4. The Power supply mode of the PoE, you can see some info about the pin, but I'm not familiar with power things. Just for your information. lol
