Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.0 (5553)

I have an EAP235-Wall, and an EAP245, both setup in standalone mode (i.e. no Omada Controller). I would like to change the Device Name on both, via my web browser. I have access to the settings, but cannot find any opportunity to rename the devices.

 

Please advise. Thanks.

I don't believe you can do that for standalone WAPs:

I agree with terziyski, standalone mode cannot set device name.

 

Why do you want to change Device name? You can only modify the device name on Controller, if you want to distinguish different EAPs, you can set different static IPs for them.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.
