Model: ER7206 (TL-ER7206)
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hello,

I have the following network:

ER7206

- WAN

- SG2210P (Port 3) VLAN 10, 20, 30, 40 - Trunk

- EAP 245  (Port 4) VLAN 10, 20. 30, 40 - Trunk

- Xbox One X (Port 5) VLAN 10
- TV (Port 6) VLAN 30

WIFI Config

 - a SSID for every VLAN

Router:

Both the SG2210P and EAP245 can handle the tagged VLAN traffic from the router, so all my AP can handle Wireless SSID for each VLAN with no problems.

VLAN 10 config on the ER7206:

VLAN 30 config on ER7206

I have problems with port 5 and 6 (they are LAN1 and LAN2 on Omada Controller) and the devices connected to the ports are on the default LAN (VLAN 1)

The switch can handle untagged traffic when I set in the Omada Controller the option to enable that VLAN in the config, but on the router I only have the LAN settings from Wired Networks.

How can I force untagged traffic from the router with VLAN 10 and 30? The devices connected to the ports 5 and 6 are assigned to VLAN 1.

Any advice?

@userNAC

Only way to do that is in stand alone with this beta software..

https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/266112

This is a link to the software in this post.

I have taken som off my routers out of SDN controller for now, much more stable much less problem in standalone, and there is possible to do access control in stand alone.

I know tp-link work with mor stability in SDN but for now it is not.

@shberge

I have tried to remove the LAN (VLAN 1) from the last two ports and it won't let me modify the default vlan configuration.

Figured that if I will remove the default vlan, the 10 and 30 VlANS will act as the default vlan and let me use the subnets as required. no joy.

Will patch the router to the latest beta, but I would welrcome if @Fae or someone from TP LINK will give feedback about this issue and if they plan to fix them in the near future.

A local support rep from TP LINK connected to my desktop and the option to use those ports with vlansm is not available. Only switch could have configurable vlans on ports in the Omada SDN controller app.
