ER7206 bricked after firmware upgrade failed?
Hi All,
After failed upgrade of ER7206 to V1_1.1.0_20210531-rel64940(beta) the device went to disconnected status on omada, and LEDs didn't light at LAN ports. I've tried to use the emergency mode to recover the firmware (https://www.tp-link.com/de/support/faq/3062/) but the LED of the connected LAN port won't lights up, and I get "network cable unplugged" at the PC. How much time I need to hold the reset button after I plugged in the power cable? Are there any other solution to bring it back to "life"?

@Benzol
I bricked a 605 and the recovery process worked for me no problem.
Are you holding in the reset before applying power? (am sure you are but we have all had our moments lol)

i wish i could remember how long mine took when holding the reset
maybe open a command prompt and ping the router ip with the -t command and if you see a ping reply then release the reset button (2 mins does seem long and i don't recall it taking that long)

For anyone who has the same problem:
Follow the instructions in the FAQ https://www.tp-link.com/de/support/faq/3062/
First put in the cable to a LAN port, change IP manually on your PC (No Gateway input. Just IP and Subnet). Than hold RESET-Button and power your ER7206.
And now important: hold the RESET-Button until the LAN-LEDs of the LAN-port with the cable starts to blink. Release RESET-Button.
Goto: 192.168.0.10 and start the firmware update manually.
After that procedure my device worked as before. But for a few minutes I had a small heart attack that the brick would stay a brick.

@Benzol I have exactly the same problem and nothing I try regarding the reset procedures seems to work to light up the LAN port and create a connection.
Did you end up getting it working?
I'm close to now sending it back.
