EAP225-Outdoor no active channel
Hello,
Today I have installed the 225-outdoor to have better wifi outside, this 225 is connected to the ext port from the EAP245.
From there to the POE injector and wired to the 225, cables are tested and the 225 is showing connected in the omada controller.
As seen in the picture below, there are no selected channels.
I compared settings with the other access points, but still no active channels.
What can be wrong?

The EAP225-Outdoor device firmware is only compatible with Omada controller v4.1.5 or above.
The FW version for the other three EAP245 is for Omada Controller v3.2.6 or above.
You can try downgrading the FW of EAP225-Outdoor to EAP225-Outdoor(EU)_V1_1.7.0 Build 20200113.
If that's not possible you have to upgrade the Omada controller to v4.1.5 or above.

Understand, I believe an update of the Omada controller will then be the best solution.
Is there a tutorial or manual available for this update, where do I need to be aware of?

If you choose to upgrade the EAP245 FW as well (not mandatory), you should know that:
Your device's configuration will be lost after upgrading and you need to re-configure your devices because some new features are not compatible with the old version. Suggest to back up your configuration before upgrading and please note the new version doesn't support to restore the old configuration file.

@terziyski Thanks, read the guide and planning to do the upgrade and rebuild the complete portal after that.
First need to the VS for work, will post the results after the update is done.
