Hello everyone,

I am planning to buy this new product ER7206 for a site. My concern is that whether this router support dhcp pool larger than 256 IP?

I am planning to configure one these 2 options:

(I want to configure LAN network with 1024 IPs)

1. 192.168.0.0/22

2. 172.17.0.0/16

Are these options possible to configure on this router ?

ER7206 is capable for this, you can add multiple LAN according to your need.

@Virgo Hello, thanks for the response.

My switch network has default VLAN. We don't want to configure VLANs on our switches.

Our current network range is 192.168.0.0/24 and we are lacking IP addresses so we want to exatend this range only.

If ER7206 supports 192.168.0.0/22 subnet then I can have total 1024 IP addresses in DHCP pool (192.168.0.0 to 192.168.3.255) and I do not have to create multiple VLAN interfaces on the router.

Please suggest.

I tried on my ER605 and this IP range can be saved on the Router.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.
